Overview

Chomp Studio visualized the future of Lockheed Martin's 5G satellite technology through fully custom, animated 3D worlds.

The Challenge

Lockheed needed a range of environments that could visually communicate how their 5G satellite technology connects across different real-world scenarios. With no existing footage to build from, every scene had to be created from nothing.

The Outcome

A fully customized isometric look across multiple 3D scenes, each built from the ground up. Complete with animated world elements like water, traffic, subway trains, and hero satellites, delivered start to finish, from storyboard to final color-graded render.

Process Notes

From storyboard images, to world building in 3d, each scene was created inside of Cinema 4d. We created a still frame of each world and finessed it until it was perfect. In production the world elements (such as water, cars, subway trains, and our hero satellites flying above) are all brought to life with keyframes and animation.
