Overview

Chomp Studio built the show's complete visual identity: title sequence, full graphics package, and episode-wide VFX cleanup whenever logos, equipment or crew needed to be removed.

The Challenge

Beyond a cinematic opening sequence, the show needed a consistent visual system carried through every episode: photo treatments, locator text, lower third, while key footage across the season needed crew, gear, logos, and background distractions removed, all without a reshoot.

The Outcome

A complete visual package delivered across multiple episodes: animated 2D/3D titles, the show's full graphics system: photo treatments, locator text, lower thirds, plus rotoscoping, motion tracking, and cleanup throughout.

Process Notes

Like most projects, this one started with concepts and storyboards. From there, we brought those ideas to life through 3D, 2D, and compositing, working to lock in a look that would carry across the footage and the title sequence. That gave editors plenty of raw, uncolored footage and options to cut together an impactful sequence. Once the sequence and tone were locked, we brought everything into After Effects for color grading, rotoscoping, VFX, and compositing to give it a defining look and bring the graphics package to life. Rotoscoping and object removal ran throughout the season to keep every shot clean.
